Help get “J is for Junkie” in Film Fest Worldwide
I’m raisng money to get my feature film “J is for Junkie” in various film festivals across the world, and I could use your help! I already submitted it to a few of the major festivals, but entry fees range anywhere from $50-100, which can get pretty costly, and they are all equally important. I’m asking you to make a small donation, anything from $1 to $100, whatever you can spare. Every dollar will aid me in pursuing my dreams.
About the Movie: Growing up I never had a father, because he was out running the streets getting high. Right around the time I was born, the mid 80′s, African-American communities across the country was struck by the crack epidemic. Which robbed us our prideful culture and instantly perverted it into a counter-culture where playgrounds became warzones and families were destroyed. One day in October, I decided to start filming a group crack addicts in Atlanta who live outside in a small cove behind a Texaco, infamously dubbed as the “Living Room” who share their stories and tell us what it’s like to battle a deadly addiction to crack-cocaine.
